JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for directing all phases of manufacturing activities to achieve productivity goals and ensure a safe work environment, a quality product, and on-time customer service. Interacts and collaborates with managers throughout the organization in order to deliver performance that aligns with the Company’s strategic vision, while improving the overall customer experience.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directs daily distribution and manufacturing operations from purchasing of raw materials/services to finished goods in order to maximize production and quality and minimize costs.
- Collaborates with other departments and vendors to resolve production issues, drive workflow and efficiency improvements, as well as drive “best practices” and accountability through the business.
- Collaborates with other organization leaders to meet facility financial and quality goals.
- Develops, plans, and executes operational strategies to ensure quality standards are met and on-time delivery of products while reducing cost and product lead-times.
- Develops and implements changes that continually improve operational systems, processes, and policies in support of organization mission.
- Oversees facilities maintenance and preventative maintenance support systems.
- Develops and interprets financial and performance metrics and s related to the successful operations of the facility.
- Provides leadership and personnel development as required to achieve performance goals and objectives.

*Manages the planning, organization, and controls for a major functional area or department. May be responsible for a mix of direct and matrix s. Approves subordinate’s recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct s to next level management for review and approval. Monitors appropriate staffing levels and s on utilization and deployment of human resources. Leads and supports staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company’s values.QUALIFICATIONS

*Bachelors degree required.
Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Over 10 years of experience required.
5 to 7 years plant operations management experience required.
At least 5 years of supervisory level experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
