The HR Recruiter’s primary role is the recruitment of all non-privileged staff. Duties include preparing and managing job postings on BMS website and external job boards, initial screening of applications and applicants, and coordination of scheduling for applicant interviews with relevant supervisor(s). The HR Recruiter extends the offer once a final decision is made, negotiates any issues/concerns with the candidate and follows up by providing a formal offer letter, coordinating completion of pre-employment paperwork and other onboarding processes. Assists and coordinates the development of strategic and comprehensive recruitment plans in accordance with the needs and goals of the company and department. Communication skills are required to persuade or gain cooperation and acceptance of ideas. Responsibility exists to ensure that internal customers are satisfied with service. External communications involve provision of a service, representing the organization at to potential candidates and other sources and the ability to deal with sensitive situations/information.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required. Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
Certification:
PHR/SPHR preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of two years recruiting or HR Generalist experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Supervision received from:
Receives supervision from the Recruitment Manager.
