Are you a chef who loves creating tasteful, organic, locally sourced, healthy dishes full of global flavors? Bandaloop is looking for a talented, creative, hard working, energetic, food loving, dedicated Chef de Cuisine to join our team. We create and serve meals using organic and local ingredients, with a focus on something for everyone, including vegetarian, vegan, and Gluten free dishes. We like to create food that leaves you feeling good, satiated, happy – not weighed down with heavy sauces, butter, or pork. We like to keep things light, healthy, delicious, approachable, and accommodating.
The Bandaloop Chef de Cuisine would work closely with Executive Chef/Owner Scott Lee to manage the kitchen and create new menu items/specials. The Chef would be a leader in the kitchen – ordering food, scheduling and managing all kitchen staff, ordering supplies, ensuring consistency in the preparation of menu items, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, all while working alongside our team members in the kitchen and in the front of the house. We have no room for ego in our house, we all work together and do what needs to be done. The Bandaloop chef can’t be above mopping floors and doing dishes if/when the need arises.
Bandaloop has been in operation for 17 years, owned and managed by Scott and Bridget Lee, and has a great reputation and following. We are not looking for someone to change what we have been doing, only enhance it and move us forward. We’d love some fresh energy and creativity.
