Seeking Registered Nurse!Weekend Only Work (WOW) Part-Time (24 Hours/Week)Days (7am-7pm)Baptist Health FloydEmergency Department Observation Unit$$ BONUS ELIGIBLE $$
Job Duties:
In this role, theRN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
About the Unit:
The Observation Unit is a 15-bed unit affiliated with the Emergency Department and observes patients who are expected to be in the hospital less than 24 hours. Nurses in this unit care for a variety of patients including chest pain, cardiac arrhythmias, heart catheterizations, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, UTIs, and DVTs. The unit is staffed with a provider between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM each day of the week to provide support and high-level care.New Graduate RNs welcome.
Position/Opportunity Highlights:
- Work every weekend and receive PREMIUM pay for hours worked on weekend
Qualifications:
- Graduate of approved nursing program
- Current Indiana or compact state RN License
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required from a provider that follows AHA guidelines
- ACLS required from a provider that follows AHA guidelines, within 12 months of hire
