Job Summary
Our client, a well-established distribution company, is seeking a HR Risk Coordinator to join their New York team. Your main responsibilities in this role will include using your extensive knowledge of leave of absence policies to process and research worker compensation, FMLA, and disability cases, evaluate benefits eligibility, enter data in to company HRIS systems with a high degree of accuracy, and exercise the utmost discretion when handling and protecting personal health information. Other day to day tasks will include regular communication with leadership to share information on claims processes, facilitating return to work programs, and serving as a backup PFL administrator. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with HRIS systems, strong working knowledge of regulations regarding leave of absence and worker compensation policies, be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, and have exceptional time management, multitasking, and problem solving capabilities.
