Belcan Hiring for NOC Voice Engineer Job at Charlotte, NC Full Time

A NOC Voice Engineer position in Charlotte, NC is currently available through Belcan. In this position you will be responsible for troubleshooting voice services and equipment for customers. To be considered for this role, you will have a High school or equivalent; BA/BS preferred with Three (3) years of experience minimum. This is a full time opportunity with a growing company and has excellent upward mobility.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze/Audit tickets, telephone recordings, post install systems, emails and surveys to identify areas of opportunities
• Provide structured and timely communications/recommendations to the Operations Center managers/supervisors for coaching opportunities
• Performs quality training and expectations for new hires
• Recommend and develop programs to improve the customer experience
• Create/Analyze statistics and reports for the Operations Center
• Create/Update Monthly employee scorecards for the Operations Center
• Provide call volume details and statistics for reporting.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• General knowledge of voice technologies; PRI, SIP, Analog telephony, LNP, Hunt group, etc.
• Familiarity with PSTN terminology; LNP, TN, CNAM, etc.
• Experience with PBX/PBX technology or the ability to learn this platform in an acceptable amount of time.
• Experience with Linux command line and batch scripting.
• Experience with Adtran IP Business Gateways or the ability to learn this platform in an acceptable amount of time.
• Ability to input data accurately across multiple systems.

Education

High school or equivalent; BA/BS preferred.

CCNA, CCNA Voice and/or Adtran ATSA/IPBG certifications

3 or more years of hands-on experience in a related field.
