The Right Fit
We’re looking for a detail-oriented designer with hustle. We are a deadline-driven small studio that creates beautiful specialty-printed pieces for a very special clientele. This position is hands-on from concepting with clients to estimating, to helping finish and perfect the full order and ensure a photo-worthy finish. With our orders being largely custom, organization is a must. This position is for a detail-oriented designer who likes working with customers and managing their full project.
The Job
This position begins with a training period to understand all the aspects of the special printing process you will design to and sell to our clients. Responsiveness and great listening is key. You will get to create new designs as well as work with our existing ones. Drawing skills are a big plus. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are a must.
The type of creative work we do is largely graphic design and illustration. Monograms, typesetting and creative type styling are used daily. We use MailChimp and Magento for eCommerce. While we can teach you these, if you already have experience with them it’s also a big plus.
