Act as a utility person at the bar and assists the bartender/cashier as required in keeping supplies and equipment ready, services guests, etc. Knowledgeable in County liquor regulations. Relieve bartender/cashier. Service guests courteously and efficiently. Keep the bar, storeroom and work area clean and organized. Maintain the proper par stock of garnishes, juices glasses, etc. Prepare garnishes, mixes and juices for drinks. Consistently perform tasks as specified on sequence of service standards and SOPs.
What you will have an opportunity to do:
REPORTS TO: F&B Outlets Manager/Supervisor/Director
Bar Outlets, Service and Kitchen areas.
Job involves working:
Able to work shifts and days determined by manager.
Able to work more than 40 hours per week when needed.
Internal: Employees in Bars, Culinary/Stewarding, Restaurants, Guest Services – Front Desk, Guest Services – Concierge, Guest Services – Bell/Door/Valet, Housekeeping and Property Operations.
External: Hotel guests and visitors, Liquor suppliers, Equipment Repair personnel.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Receive and properly store liquor, beer and wine. Deliver beverage requisitions to bartenders, cart attendants, etc. and fill orders when needed Report any discrepancies in requisitions or inventory. Prepare, restock and set-up bar for opening. Clean bar storage area, equipment and countertop. Relieve and perform the duties of a bartender/cashier when required. Assist bartender in welcoming guests, taking beverage orders, mixing and serving drinks. Follow County regulations and hotel policies in serving alcoholic beverages. Able to relieve and perform duties of a bartender Complete work assignments in a timely manner Consistently perform tasks as specified on sequence of service standards and SOPs. Assist in inventory. Clean storeroom. Rotate stock. Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Converse with guests in a courteous and respectful manner. Cut garnishes for drinks. Recommend the resort’s restaurants and facilities to guests. Make mixes/juices for drinks
