Human Resources Generalist
Position Summary:
This position connects through three major areas in Best-One Tire and Service: Human Resources, Benefits Administration and Payroll. The position provides leadership, oversight, support, and execution of many of the activities faced by the employee lifecycle at Best-One Tire. This customer service position is an employee facing role with experience in payroll, benefits, communication, 401k.
The right candidate for this role will work closely with the Senior Benefits Generalist and will understand how to prioritize tasks that have different importance week to week. While managing the oversight of many monthly and weekly projects, they will also deliver 24–48-hour turnaround of employee and business needs.
The candidate will view the position as an internal business that s/he runs as a part of the overall HR and Benefits Team. The responsibility to run the business smoothly and efficiently originates with this role but has the support of the HR and Benefits Team. This position has a very high technology component requiring the candidate to reach proficiency with multiple technology platforms quickly and then to expand and improve use of technologies.
Essential Functions:
BENEFITS
Oversee the employee lifecycle from notification of a new hire through the onboarding and benefit election process.
Primary point of contact for benefit administrators and employees for benefit issues and questions.
Overall management of benefit administration technology systems including input of data, monitoring of file feed/results, holding carrier partners accountable.
Provide leadership and training on eligibility matters for all Benefit Administrators.
Monitor and report on positive and negative trends within the employee lifecycle processes.
PAYROLL
This role will be offered to locations for out-sourced payroll processing and 401k management services to multiple Best-One Tire Locations. This role will serve as a backup in the absence of the Senior Benefits Generalist.

Skills & Abilities:
Education: High school graduate or general education degree (GED); college degree preferred.
Experience: 2-4 years related experience.
Certifications / Licenses: Ongoing training is required per company’s standards.
Computer: Must be competent in MS Word, Excel, and payroll / benefits software and have the ability to learn and operate computer systems in a timely and efficient manner.
