The Warehouse & Inventory Control Manager will be a team oriented individual responsible for leading Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing and Distribution operations. This position will oversee the safe, accurate and efficient handling all finished goods and all raw materials to achieve a minimum customer service level of 98% across all shipments. The goal is to ensure the Warehouse team executes and delivers on all expectations for excellent customer service in the safest manner possible, at the highest quality possible, and at the lowest cost possible.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
2. Oversee receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
3. Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
4. Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
5. Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
6. Ensure that warehouse inventory is physically and systemically accurate, all inventory management practices and procedures are followed, and required inventory transactions are competed timely and accurately
7. Communicate effectively with Bevolution Group team members, equipment and materials vendors, and transport companies.
8. Work effectively with equipment vendors to ensure all warehouse equipment is operational at all times
9. Build mutually beneficial relationships with team members from all facets of the business in order to develop and sustain best practices
10. Develop and maintain an effective personnel schedule that meets factory and shipping needs, as well as complies with budgetary requirements
11. Coach team members for continual growth and development. Support the recruitment, selection and onboarding of new team members
12. Produce various warehouse and shipping reports and statistics including (IN/OUT status report, slow moving report, dead stock report, cycle-counting results, etc.)
MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
1. Proven leadership success in warehouse and shipping environments
2. Expertise in warehouse management procedure development and best practice implementation
3. Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
4. Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); how to set and track through various applications of performance management tools
5. Proven competency with warehouse management software and databases
6. Team leadership skills and ability to development and sustain a solid team
QUALIFICATIONS
1. BS or Associates degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration is preferred but not required.
2. At least five (5) years of warehousing & shipping leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. At least ten (10) or more years of overall warehousing and shipping experience.
SKILLS
1. Must have large ERP WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience.
2. Experience with the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system is a plus.
3. Bilingual speech is a plus – English and Spanish
4. Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills including Microsoft Office software.
5. Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with team members, vendors, and customers.
6. Effective communication skills for communicating with support personnel and management.
7. Professional demeanor and positive attitude along with a great work ethic with the ability to multi-task. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment in a multi-person department.
8. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, preferred experience with use of Continuous Improvement tools
9. Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
