BFG Hiring for Warehouse Associate at Bloomingdale, GA Full Time

The Warehouse Associate prepares outgoing orders for shipment, receives and stores incoming stock into inventory, performs inventory cycle counts and maintains a safe and clean warehouse environment.

Compensation Data: Non-exempt hourly pay starting at $19.00 based on experience.

Travel: None

Location: Bloomington, GA M-F, 7:00am-3:30pm with occasional overtime during busy season

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares orders for shipment by selecting, packing, wrapping, labeling, staging, and/or loading onto trucks.
• Receives and processes incoming stock products such as unloading, staging, storing and documenting.
• Performs inventory cycle counts to verify accurate accounting of stock items.
• Reports inventory discrepancies to supervisor.
• Communicates and collaborates with supervisors and co-workers.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment and enhances space utilization.

Physical Environment & Required Competencies

• Ability to transact with barcoding, scanning, shipping and inventory software.
• Ability to regularly operate RF scanner, hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or other material handling equipment according to safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to achieve forklift certification given onsite within 10 working days of hire.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for extended periods of time.
• Fast paced warehouse with a significant number and variety of products.
• Repetitive lifting up to 50lbs required.
• Environment is not climate controlled.

Education & Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
