The IT Operations Manager oversees and directs the day-to-day activities of the IT Operations team, ensuring that systems, services, and infrastructure work reliably and securely. Lead team to implement networks and servers, respond to user help desk requests, and monitor system stability and performance. Provides guidance and leadership to the IT department while also directly supporting end users by handling escalations, resolving user issues, and monitoring the performance of business-critical systems to prevent delays and outages and quickly resolve ongoing issues.
Essential Job Functions:

• Provide administration, oversight, installation and support of servers, laptop and desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, company mobile phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches
• Maintains automated help desk ticket management system
• s on system status through dashboards and data looking to improve efficiencies
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date inventory of computer and peripheral related equipment
• Ensure system performance, reliability, resiliency and compliance
• Implements roadmaps for future upgrades
• Maintain and monitor network and system security

• Establishes and maintains BH Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards and quality assurance
• Manages project execution plans and s on the status of project timelines, contingencies, and deliverables
• Participates in the selection, training, and performance management of the IT Operations positions and provides day-to-day resource support and mentoring to the IT department. Assists with establishing, planning, and administering the overall policies and goals for the information technology department.
• Maintains relationships with, and coordinates the activities of, third party vendors and service providers
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in technology related field or 10+ years’ experience in field or related area
• Seven (7) years related experience in IT Infrastructure and/or IT System Administration
• Three (3) years of direct leadership experience
• Complex troubleshooting, problem-solving and support skills

• Experience in administering and maintaining technology systems:

• Foundational infrastructure (Windows Server, virtualization, network, database)
• Workspace technology (PC, VoIP, MDM, conferencing)
• Information security, risk and availability (SIEM, BCP/DR, NIST Standards)
• Public and private cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, O365, other SaaS platforms)

• Ability to apply clear and consistent performance standards
• Ability to engage in all phases of the project lifecycle
• Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize work functions
• Ability to lead, mentor and train
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively communicate technology infrastructure, processes, procedures and policies to stakeholders
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technology changes and trends
• The ability and means to travel up to 10% locally, overnight, in specific regions or states via automobile and airplane may be required.
• Ability to work as needed, on-call, to assist with emergencies

Work Schedule: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, or as needed to meet business needs; may require working hours outside normal business hours for on-call emergencies.

This position requires close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
The ability and means to travel locally, overnight, in specific regions or states via automobile and airplane may be required.
