We are seeking a Senior React Native developer for an exciting startup based in Los Angeles.

We seek someone with a blend of software and leadership skills to oversee development and take Bigwig to the next level.

The Opportunity

This is an outstanding opportunity for a sharp, driven, passionate, and experienced leader to join a team of entrepreneur’s in changing the game in influencer marketing and e-commerce shopping space. You will work directly within agile teams to maintain and enhance iOS / Android Mobile applications. You’ll be responsible for taking documented product requirements and ensuring the implementation of said requirements meet the acceptance criteria, while delivering quality code and scalable solutions.

What you’ll be doing

• Full life cycle application development.
• Push the limits to continuously create and enhance user experience.
• Design, code, and debug applications.
• Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, and software reliability analysis.
• Object-oriented Design, design patterns, algorithms.
• QA Testing and Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.· Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.

• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Keep proprietary information and company data confidential.· Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; confers with users, studies systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigates problem areas; follows the software development cycle.
• Provide engineering support, when necessary, to technical operations staff when they are building, deploying, configuring, and supporting systems for customers.
• Participate with the engineering and operations teams to define plans for standardizing, scaling, and enhancing the company’s products and the services utilized to deploy/install/release those products.
• Other duties as assigned by CTO. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.

What we’re looking for

• Proven mobile app development – experience in both iOS and Android apps.
• Strong coding skills in programming languages within React Native.
• Advanced technological skillset and a demonstrated history with technology.
• Knowledge of development programming languages (React native, Node.js, Nest, TypeORM, Typescript, PostgreSQL, Redis, Auth0Apollo GraphQL, Forest Admin, Opentracing, Docker, Kubernetes etc..).
• Experience with third-party libraries, integrations and APIs.
• Experience with AWS, AWS ECR, AWS EKS, AWS S3, AWS CloudWatch, AWS RDS, AWS ElastiCache etc..)
• Exceptional team player skills.
• Be able to work in a high-energy, collaborative, and often times, telecommunication environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Passion for the company’s vision.
• Self Starter and do whatever it takes mindset.
