Position Summary:

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for day-to-day operation of the shipping/receiving area. The Shipper/Receiver will process inbound and outbound materials while maintaining control of record accuracy. The Shipper/Receiver will maintain schedules and ensure adherence to Customer and government requirements relative to transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process shipments or receipts

  • Ensure shipment/receipt accuracy for item, lot, quantity, revision and expiration date

  • Prepare import/export documentation and file with appropriate agencies
  • Deliver/collect materials and documents to appropriate departments

  • Support entire shipping process of RNA Medical products (pack lists, picking, packaging, labeling, and paperwork)

  • Understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Understand and follow standards related to safety
  • Understand database ERP systems
  • Meet quality expectations
  • Ability to support and help others
  • Demonstrate an increasing level of independence in daily work tasks

Education and Experience:

• 1 – 3 years shipping, receiving or logistics experience preferred
• High School diploma

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• • Strong communication skills with an ability to work in cross functional teams

  • Proficient with ERP systems and data entry, familiar with MS Office suite

  • Valid driver’s license, a good driving record and the ability to pass Department of Transportation (49CFR391.41-391.49) Medical Test
  • Experience with automated or web based freight and parcel systems
