Job Description

The Birch Agency has a two (2) immediate job openings for a Middle School Teacher! This job is located near Sebring, Florida and we need one (1) Junior High School Science Teacher and also a Middle School Social Studies Teacher.

Both of these Florida teaching jobs are full-time, 40 hours per week, starts in December/January 2022 and is for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year.

So, if you have a strong desire to work in the state of Florida for the next five (5) or six (6) months, please let me know since this job is not a bad place to live in the winter months.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

1. Must meet the state Florida teaching requirements for a Social Studies Teacher.

• Bachelor’s or higher required with a major in one or more of the following social sciences, social studies, history, political science, geography, philosophy, sociology, economics, and/or psychology.

• Bachelor’s or higher degree with thirty (30) hours in social science or social studies to include 6 completed semester hours in United States history and various world histories/social science.

2) Must have a valid and active state teaching license.
