BizLibrary is looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) leader to ensure all human resources operations are effective, efficient, and aligned to overall business objectives. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of HR will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support business growth, improve employee retention, attract the best talent, and promote the organization’s values.
What you’ll do:
Bring best practices from your prior experience to enhance and improve all HR operations
Serve as the primary HR Generalist – expected to be hands-on and deeply involved in policies, procedures, HR legal issues and the administration of such activities.
Manage employee relations, improving employee satisfaction and retention
Communicate consistently between executives and management throughout the organization, providing guidance to senior management
Coordinate with company management to ensure compliance with established HR policies and procedures and all other HR laws and regulations, mitigating risk
Manage HR department budget and HR personnel, ensuring resources are aligned to department objectives
Improve and oversee all HR policies, procedures, and systems for smooth and effective operation
Manage company compensation and benefit packages, utilizing research and experience to ensure competitiveness in the market.
Organizational planning, including workforce assessments and talent acquisition, to ensure departments have the correct human capital to execute on business strategy
Who you are:
An HR professional with 5+ years of experience as a Senior HR Generalist, Consultant, or Business Partner
An HR certified professional (strong preference for PHR certification), with a Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field
Experienced as an HR leader; with the ability to develop and manage programs and lead staff while also possessing a strong strategic mindset.
Someone who possesses a strong understanding of HR labor laws and regulations
A communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization.
A professional with the highest level of personal integrity, maturity, and work ethic.
A leader A collaborator with the ability to work effectively with leaders across the organization.
A proactive problem-solver who works with a high level of urgency to constantly improve and iterate.
Bonus points for:
Previous experience working with companies of 200 to 500 employees
Previous experience within the SaaS (or similar) industry
Previous experience managing the HR function in a remote-first work environment
