Blue Moon Logistics, LLC has an immediate need for experienced truck drivers. A professional in this role will provide great service to our valued clients in the supply chain logistics department. If you are responsible, independent and have a strong work ethic, you are the one we are looking for.

Job Type: Full-time, Independent Truck Driver (1099)

Salary: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 /year

Your responsibilities will include:

• Transport finished goods and raw materials overland to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance

• Plan routes and meet scheduled delivery dates/times.

• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel receipts

• Contact us for each stage of the loading and unloading process

• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods, etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures

• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

· Collect and verify delivery instructions

• Report defects, accidents or violations on a timely manner

Our requirements:

· Must be 25 years or older (Required)

· Must be willing and able to drive 10 speed Manual transmission (Required)

· Must have 2 year of Tractor-Trailer experience (Required)

· Must have a minimum of 2 years of Valid CDL A. (Required)

· Must have a proven work experience as a truck driver

· Must have good communications Skills.

· Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD units)

• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly

• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations

• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,600.00 – $1,800.00 per week
