Medical Billing Coordinator

Pediatric office is seeking a Medical Billing Coordinator with 1-2 years of experience in Pediatrics or Family Practice. This position is responsible for claim submission, payment posting and working A/R.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma and/or Associates Degree in medical billing/ coding

· 1-2 years of experience in Pediatric or Family Practice billing

· Experience with EMR, specifically eClinicalWorks

Responsibilities:

· Creating claims for submission and submitting to clearinghouse

· Posting payments by ERA and manually

· Reviewing insurance A/R report, researching claims and working claim denials

· Verifying insurance eligibility and relaying information to staff/patients

· Managing the patient aging

· Liaison with insurance representatives

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 – $23.00 per hour
