Your Role
The Marketing, Digital and Customer Care IT Portfolio team is responsible for the development, support and innovation of the technology solutions in the Digital, Marketing and Customer Care business units. We work closely with our business partners in the form of tight knit hybrid product teams. The Application Developer, Experienced will report to the IT Applications Manager. In this role you will support, maintain, design and develop integrations across multiple integration platforms. There are multiple data feeds from several sources (internal and external) that come into play. Understanding the connections, maintaining those connections, and creating new points of interaction will be required. There will be some build and support of transformation logic required.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
Develop user interfaces, application programs using the technical specifications and applies design patterns
Write and execute unit test scenarios for dev and integrated environments
Troubleshoot development and production problems across integrated systems
Recommend ways to improve code quality and system/component availability
Perform root cause analysis and suggest remediation for commonly occurring issues
Create and review design frameworks and methodologies to achieve functional and non-functional requirements while conforming to the overall architecture parameters and governance
Support, maintain, design and develop integrations across multiple integration platforms
Your Knowledge and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Requires at least 3 years of experience in computer related support field
Requires 1+ year(s) experience in developing enterprise services and application integrations (REST, Web services, Data Power, Spring, Apache Camel, JAX-WS, JSON, SOAP)
Requires basic understanding of SOA, API and Micro Services principles and implementation
Requires familiarity of standard development tools, including source version control (SVN Git/Bitbucket), defect tracking, documentation, and testing systems (writing Junit test cases using Camel and Mockito)
Preferred experience with health care industry
Must be self-directed, highly organized and adaptable
