Your Role
The IT Corporate Services Portfolio team at Blue Shield of California provides the technology solutions and services for Corporate Applications. Our portfolio manages the projects that help Blue Shield of CA stay compliant against the policies and standards. The Archer Application Developer, Consultant will report to the IT Corporate Services Portfolio Lead. In this role, you will analyze the business requirements, configure the RSA Archer platform, model solution designs using technologies to enhance business processes. You will consult with vendor support resources, provide guidance to the legal team, and ensure adherence to architecture and governance standards for both new delivery and customer support. You will find an opportunity to make an impact on how BSC stays compliant every day using findings, CAPs, and more.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
Design and develop user interfaces, application programs using the technical specifications and design documents
Recommend improvements to the SDLC and other departmental processes
Improve the reliability and utilization of systems and applications
Monitor software configuration changes to anticipate and address the impact of data reliability and customer satisfaction issues
Coordinate sustaining support for 1-2 application platforms or business processes
Work independently as an RSA Archer Administrator/GRC Administrator or Developer and as a member of the project implementation/support/services team
Analyze, evaluate, and document customer requirements, and map customer requirements to RSA Archer GRC product functionality
Identify gaps and evaluate ways to bridge the gaps through workarounds, product extensions, customizations
Communicate with team in-person and over the phone on implementation workflows and technical/functional aspects of the projects and be a critical member of the team to help implement projects successfully
Work as a team member closely with the Product Manager, and other team members to administer RSA Archer GRC Application

Your Knowledge and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience
Requires thorough technical knowledge of Archer 6.x modules: Assessment & Authorization, Continuous Monitoring, Policy Management, Risk Management, Compliance Management, Issue Management, Vendor Management, Threat Management, Business Continuity, Audit Management, GRC Platform
Requires extensive experience with development, implementation, and configuration of Advanced Workflows, Dashboards, Data Feeds, iView’s, Reports, and Use Cases
Requires extensive experience with integrating Archer with other platforms or systems and hands-on experience with building REST and JSON API’s that work with Archer
Requires extensive experience in configuring Access Controls, Record Permission, Events, and Notifications in Archer
Desired candidates should hold one or more of the following certifications in good, current standing: Archer Certified Administrator, CISA, GCIH, GCED, CISSP, CASP, CRISC, or Security+
