Summary of Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Information Technology Officer (ITO), this position is responsible for the daily support of the Bank’s information technology and telecommunications.
Responsibilities
-Maintaining the network, as well as network performance monitoring
-Installing and maintaining upgrades to the network as well as troubleshooting and repair
-Overseeing user access to the network
-Assist the ITO with developing a backup and disaster recovery plan for a network emergency
-Assist the ITO with planning network infrastructure for new applications and services
-Integrating approved mobile devices into the organization’s networks.
-Works with vendors to provide appropriate support and to ensure that systems and operating as effectively and securely as possible.
-Assist the ITO with evaluating established policies, procedures and systems for current and future needs; Recommends improvements for functionality and efficiencies.
– Implements IT and telecommunication systems following established protocols.
-Monitors IT systems are to ensure they are secure, properly backed up and appropriately documented.
-Assists with IT disaster recovery planning and mitigation strategies.
-Motivates department personnel through individual and team coaching to ensure optimal performance. Provides effective leadership to personnel through proper planning, communications and staff development; Manages employee matters.
-Serves as back-up for IT work orders.
-Actively participates in Bank events as requested.
-Performs other duties as required.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience Requirements
-Significant coursework or training in Computer Science or related field
-Minimum of 3-5 years of related progressive experience
-Thorough understanding of required IT and telecommunications systems and applications
-Working knowledge of bank operations
-Demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve positive results
-Effective oral and written communication skills
-Working knowledge of relevant Federal, State and local laws and regulations
-Ability to learn and support the Bank’s systems and applications
-Project management skills
-Decision-making and problem-solving skills
-Knowledge in Active Directory
-Knowledge in Virtualization/VMware/ Server builds
-Knowledge in switch and routing
-Knowledge with O365 Exchange
