Boeing’s Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Mobility and Surveillance Human Resources (HR) team seeks an Associate Human Resources Generalist to join their team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, inclusive team aimed at shaping the future of HR at Boeing to drive business value for the Aircraft Modernization and Modification (AMM) portfolio and beyond. The AMM Portfolio supports Executive Transport, Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEWC), Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS), and some Bombers programs. Each program has business growth and you will have the direct opportunity to enable the talent to build and design these amazing capabilities.
As a key member of the team, you will gain strong understanding of the business imperatives of the program to unleash the power of our talent in all functions. You will also support and partner with leaders at all levels – management to non-management.
Position Responsibilities:
Administer HR programs, systems and processes
Provide guidance and implementation assistance of HR policies, practices and strategies
Conduct preliminary analysis of workforce planning analysis
Resolve or refer HR Service Center elevated employee issues
Conduct employee investigations
Build and maintain strong partnerships with the leadership team to develop integrated HR initiatives and solutions to enable the business including workforce planning and talent pipeline development
Provide consultation and coaching to employees at all levels (management to non-management) on HR practices, processes as well as utilizing conflict resolution techniques to ensure team cohesion
Champion Boeing’s Enterprise Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments, like Accelerating Diverse Leaders (ADL) and provide guidance on deploying enterprise level activities in alignment with Global Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (GEDI)
Use business intel to advocate on the behalf of the program to secure resources and any help needed from our functional partners
Partner effectively across the broader HR organization to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated operational HR support for the business
Influence the Mobility and Surveillance (M&S) HR priorities, skill and talent discussions, development programs, resource deployment, etc.
Assist in creating engagement plans to cultivate an inclusive work environment
Support division level projects supporting the M&S People Plan
Provide Best Team & Talent (BTTR) meeting facilitation support and integration across the division to create cohesive rollout of enterprise HR policies and activities
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes
3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
3+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions
3+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Human Resources Certification
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation:
