Position Reports to the Boeing Global Services (BGS) engineering function and supports the KC-46 and international KC-46 programs as required. Candidate will be working as part of an integrated team providing support for the KC-46 in Everett, WA or Tukwila, WA.
Primary responsibilities include: Planning and technical Integration of all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements between the key suppliers within KC-46 Support and Training program, the KC-46 Production Program, and our customers. This position will support multiple Statements of Work within the KC-46 Support & Training Program. Experience working across multiple teams, functions, and with international customers is highly desired. Candidate must be capable of integrating elements of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program activities to include support system analysis, spares, provisioning, technical data, support equipment, training, maintenance engineering/modifications, warranty, and facilities.
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options: Everett, WA; Tukwila, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
Experience utilizing engineering data sources/drawings to develop plans
Integrate with the various engineering groups within and outside the KC-46 program
Review engineering change proposals to determine impact to modification/retrofit plans
Support the development of integrated schedules for modification/retrofit activities
Support the development of the fleet release roadmap
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
2+ years engineering experience
0-1 years using engineering data sources/drawings to develop plans
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):
USAF tanker/transport experience
Aerospace or transportation engineering experience
Modification/Retrofit engineering experience
Project management experience
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, or science, that qualifies a candidate to be in the engineering skillcode, (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. BS in Engineering

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
