This multi-threaded role is critical to both operational and project level initiatives for our corporate data and voice networks. You’ll implement these critical services, leveraging world-class technologies to enable us to deliver premier financial products to customers nation-wide. What You Can Expect

• Strategy: You’ll closely work with network architects to advance a multi-year network playbook and associated roadmap to continuously improve our network performance, system resiliency and customer experience.
• Projects: You’ll implement projects, systems, and issues of medium to high complexity surrounding network planning, configuration and optimization including keeping disaster recovery plans up-to-date, as required, and configuring the network to support recovery objectives to ensure business continuity
• Operations: You’ll communicate with operational support teams as required, keep them informed of incident progress and notify them of impending changes or outages.
• Process Improvements: You’ll schedule and coordinate corrective and routine maintenance on critical network, Disaster Recovery and voice systems with appropriate vendors, customers, and support organizations.
• Security and Risk: You’ll perform network risk assessments, implement tech solutions, and assist with internal or external network security audits, Disaster Recovery testing, and maintenance.We’d Like to Talk to You

COMMUNICATION: You’ll need exceptional verbal and written communication to express yourself clearly and concisely to internal and external audiences.

TECHNICAL SKILLS: You are tech savvy and understand the systems you support, including their integrations and how they affect all sides. Systems include: Cisco, 3Com, LAN cabling requirements, specifications and installation, mainframe communications, TDM, and IP telecommunications. You need a deep understanding of the 7 layer Network OSI model.

RELATIONSHIP BUILDER: You relate to any audience and build trust by leveraging strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity.

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Technology/Science and 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure/network environments performing network engineering, design; planning and implementation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
