[ Your Mission ]
Help the world fall in love with the best Japanese artisanal snacks and experiences, one video at a time.
As a Digital Producer for Bokksu Snack Box (Subscription), Bokksu Boutique (Premium Japanese Gifting Platform), and Bokksu Market (Online Asian Grocery Store) you will be responsible for bringing to life captivating content that is fun, educational, and connects with our audiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, eCommerce, and product, to lead the development and executions of content and strategies that engage viewers and drive sales.

This is a full-time role that reports to the VP, Creative & Brand and is based at our NYC HQ and our content studio equipped with lighting, cameras, props, and backdrops.
[ Your Responsibilities ]
Own your Domain – Develop and execute captivating content in the food and beverage industry from concept to post, including styling, shooting, and editing short-form videos for use across social and digital.
It Takes a Team – Work with other quality content creators or 3rd parties to produce more complicated videos, authentic shoots in Japan, or content specific to certain mediums like CTV including occasionally bidding and negotiating contracts.
Simplify Solutions – Create detailed shooting schedules and communicate hard deadlines that work to eliminate complexity at every step.
Let’s Go to Market – Collaborate with marketing, product, and eCommerce teams to develop and execute content that connects with audiences on a personal level.
Know thy Audience – Analyze data and performance metrics to understand viewer engagement and identify opportunities for improvement.

Tools You’ll Use – Production equipment including cameras and lighting; Video Editing software such as: Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, or Apple’s Final-Cut Pro; Social media editors including Tiktok and IG Reels.
Orderly and Precise – Maintain job production files, keep organized workspaces, and cleanly wrap up productions upon completion.
[ Your Qualifications ]
Expert understanding of the video production process from concept development through post production.
Experience shooting your own mobile/social content like a pro-influencer.
3 to 5 years of video content production experience with D2C brands or similar preferred
Proven track record of creating successful content (e.g., Show us your Reel)
Located in NYC (Relocation packages are not unavailable)
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (i.e., BFA in Media Arts Production or similar) preferred
Experience in managing varying production budgets ranging from scrappy (under $1k) to modest (upwards of $50k per asset).
