About the Role
The Manager, HR & Talent Operations serves a foundational role in the HR & Talent Team. This role will lead with an operational lens while delivering on responsibilities with people as the cornerstone of their work. The Manager, HR & Talent Operations will be responsible for optimizing processes across all sub-functions within the HR & Talent team, including Talent Acquisition, Operations, Development, and Experience.
At BookNook you will
Working with hiring managers, recruiters, and team to ensure the interview process flows with ease, finding ways to continually improve and automate processes so we can focus on the candidates!
Assist with job postings to job boards and social media sites, making sure that they align with BookNook standards and values.
Generate talent data from ATS, HRIS, and other systems to use in developing talent strategy.
Optimize, and ultimately manage the onboarding process, from offer letters sent to the first 90 days and beyond.
Partner with key stakeholders in our security and compliance efforts from a people perspective
Manage the HR & Talent team project board and ensure timeliness on deliverables and own each project.
Evaluating technologies, including HRIS to elevate the processes you are building.
Perform other duties as assigned.
You are a good fit for this role if you have:
3 to 5 years of experience in process improvement, project management, and optimization within an HR or People function
1+ years in a high growth startup or tech company
A track record of getting things done quickly and efficiently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2+ ATS experience, including reporting. Lever is a plus
Experience with LinkedIn
Experience with HRIS
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
