Job Description Position Overview: We are seeking an Accounting Associate with 3 to 4 years of experience to join our team. The candidate must have experience with financial statement audits and income tax preparation. The ability to supervise less experienced staff and a strong familiarity with MS Office is expected. Familiarity the CCH Axcess, employee benefit plan audits, and review of tax returns is preferred but not required.
Not a remote role – onsite only
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statement and analysis.
- Manage audits and reviews.
- Prepare individual and business tax returns.
- Collaborate with senior staff and partners.
- Provide exceptional client service.
- Ability to coach staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
