The Virtual Dietitian Expert’s primary responsibility is to provide outstanding service to our customers, and answer any questions they have about our products and how they relate to diet, health, and wellness. In this role, you will be responsible for providing general support and product knowledge to consumers through live chat in a telehealth setting.
What does it take to handle customer questions and concerns? Courtesy, professionalism and product knowledge. The goal? Help customers and provide them with solutions.
Job responsibilities and expectations
· Both part time and full-time hours are available. This is a temporary role for a pilot program set for approximately 4 months with the potential to be longer term. You will work a set schedule of either 40 hours per week or 20 hours per week during this time depending on the shift you apply for – including nights, weekends, and select holidays
· Answer incoming live chat tickets from customers, document all necessary information and take comprehensive notes regarding engagements
· Must meet or exceed quality metrics and customer expectations
· Use excellent written communication and customer service skills to provide customers with accurate, consistent, and timely responses
· Apply departmental policies and procedures to resolve complex situations
· Effectively answer incoming messages using a product information database
· Monitor incoming messages and customer service inquiries
· Provide accurate information while using provided technology
· Follow communication and operational procedures, policies and guidelines

· Travel and Driving are not essential duties or functions of this job
Education and industry requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· 1-3 years of experience in customer service in a call center environment
· Licenses Dietitians Preferred
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities, and Software/Tools
· Ability to educate customers and provide dietary solutions using a specific set of products
· Ability to anticipate and quickly respond to questions from multiple customers at once
· Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills including spelling, grammar, and ability to answer questions and communicate professionally in writing
· Excellent customer service orientation
· Ability to research and analyze data effectively, as well as work within a database of knowledge to answer various customer questions quickly
· Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
· Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-browsers
· Superior typing skills (both speed and accuracy) –
· Ability to multitask
· Ability to work independently

Office / Sedentary Requirements
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in a remote environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds should an in office role open in the future. This role is remote based.
