SUMMARY
The Regional Account Manager’s function is to establish new hospital and surgery center accounts and increase current account penetration for Brasseler USA’s extensive line of disposable surgical instruments and power drill systems. Sells medical products for the Company to health care facilities throughout a designated assigned sales territory by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to promote all medical products and solicit orders.
Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
Quotes pricing for future business and orders obtained.
Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedules.
Rectifies problems that arise with customer’s accounts.
Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
Provides territorial sales forecasts at intervals directed by regional sales managers.
Conducts all business transactions in an ethical and moral manner.
Completes all reporting requirements (daily sales reports, bids and quotations, territory analyses, expense reports, meeting reports, electronic customer contact information) in a professional and timely manner.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Candidates must have: 1) A Bachelor’s degree; 2) Prior sales of medical equipment in the Orthopedic., Neurosurgery, and/or ENT arenas; 3) Prior selling experience in the OR with a documented track record of sales success, and 5) Candidates must reside within the sales territory.
Additionally, we are looking for high-energy, driven individuals who are comfortable building a sales territory versus simply managing an existing customer base.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid state driver’s license.
