Position Summary: The Logistics Dispatcher’s week will consist of calling trucking companies to haul loads and negotiate rates. Hours: Monday through Friday 7am 4pm. Position Duties and Expectations (may include but not limited to):
- Accountable for providing GRAND CHAMPION Customer Service to everyone.
- Contact trucking companies for equipment availability.
- Negotiate pricing.
- Work with internal departments to verify load information.
- Work towards achieving and maintaining Company goals.
- Dispatching
- Visit trucking companies.
- Be able to take calls after hours as directed.
- Attend company meetings & educational classes & seminars.
