Overview:
At the direction of the Human Resources Information Systems Manager support the organization by assisting users by providing guidance related to questions and troubleshooting and resolving issues. This position is responsible for supporting operational data needs in our HR applications and any future applications that the company will utilize. The Human Resources Information Systems Specialist provide ongoing support of existing applications. This position will be expected to support our end-users to best leverage the systems and processes currently in place and to drive improvements where necessary.
Responsibilities:
Process daily request from users. Provide production support including, but not limited to, workflow management, front line support for Human Resources Information Systems team working and resolving issues via phone and email, auditing employee level data (including historical data), research and resolve system related issues; perform scheduled activities (mass updates); recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet new and existing requirements
Provides front line support and good customer service
Maintain and audit Human Resources Information Systems, Applicant Tracking Systems, and Learning Management Systems. Document current processes and recommend changes as needed
Assist in the testing of system upgrades and/or updates
Provide support and identify issues with standard reporting and share with analysts for updates
Comply with Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act privacy and security requirements to maintain patient and employee confidentiality at all times
Adhere to organizational policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school / General Education Diploma required, experience supporting systems is preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office; advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills strongly preferred
Excellent communication skills and telephone protocol; professional verbal and written communication skills
