Broetje Automation-USA, has an immediate requirement for a Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Specialist at its Williamsville, NY Location to support Spare Parts and Service requirements for sophisticated automated fastening equipment located within major aircraft assembly facilities in North and South America.
Job responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming goods, record shortages and reject damaged goods
- Create material postings in ERP system
- Organize distribution and shipping of merchandise
- Prepare shipping documents in ERP system for domestic and international deliveries
- Prepare customs invoices and ensure all applicable laws and regulations are adhered to
- Organize inventory and storage area, maintain records accurately in ERP system
- Stage material in assembly area
- Use forklift, crane, and other equipment for safe handling of freight and materials
- Process LTL freight shipments and coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Use of shipping and logistics software systems
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50lbs
- Must be properly trained and certified in forklift operation
- Performs stooping, standing, reaching on a regular basis
- Able to work independently and within a team
Candidates should have practical experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Experience with SAP is preferred but not required.
