Overview:The ERP-HR Analyst is responsible for working with the Human Resources (HR) Department to analyze, design, build, test, deliver and maintain reports, dashboards and other data extracts requested. The position requires an understanding of reporting tools for ERP HR/Payroll software, ERP data models and architecture, and SQL table queries and design in order to be successful. Strong project management experience as well as knowledge of writing interface and other requirements. Proficiency with Crystal Reports, and Lawson ERP related applications such as LBI, HR Report Writer and MS Addins a plus. The ERP-HR Analyst will be responsible for working on issues as reported and working as part of project teams.The ERP-HR Analyst is part of the Information Technology (IT) Department and supports the Human Resources & Finance Department end users at the organization.Responsibilities:Develop or assist in the development of work plans, task sequencing, and the extent to which tasks may be performed concurrently; help in developing project cost and benefit estimates along with alternative recommendations for new systems or equipment installation or changes to existing onesDevelop and document complete descriptions of all business requirements as specifications of work to be performedAdvise IT & HR customers on the different technical options available to resolve business issues/requirementsPrepare and administer unit and system tests as needed to quality assure all new programs and code changes and documents resultsSupport new or existing applications and evaluate previously developed programs and suggest alternatives to determine the appropriate business solutionMaintain existing ERP related notifications and reportsDevise data verification methods and standard systems procedures.Knowledgeable of MS Access database to assist in the migration legacy systemsProvide production support to systems according to the on-call schedule and as neededQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent is required/Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related disciplines preferredDemonstrated knowledge of HR processes & workflows Skilled project manager with experience in system implementation 2 years of related ERP or HR application work experience; use of Lawson ERP HR system preferred2-3 years of database experienceProficiency with Crystal Reports tool; familiarity with SQL desirable Knowledge of ERP table structures and report writingUnderstanding of timekeeping and absence management systems a plusAbility to manage multiple projects/tasksExcellent oral and written & communication skillsAbility to do data analysis and system analysis
