SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Brown University Pre-College Programs enroll
over 5,000 high school students (14-18 years old) from all over the world. Students enroll in programs with courses that vary in length
offered both on-campus (1, 2, 3, 4, and 7 weeks) with hundreds of options to choose from reflecting the breadth of Brown’s
undergraduate curriculum. These programs provide an opportunity for inquisitive students to experience college level academics, participate
in fun and challenging activities, make decisions in an independent on-campus setting, and learn from and with a diverse group of peers.

ABOUT GRADUATE
POSITIONS
The graduate positions with Brown’s Pre-College Programs and Sports Camps offer an opportunity for graduate
students, and others with an equivalent combination of education and experience, to meet the expectations of a full-time professional role,
gain practical experience in campus life, develop leadership abilities, and hone supervision skills, in addition to many other transferable
skills that prepare them to excel in any future position in higher education.
These positions include a significant amount of
responsibility and the staff hired are treated as professional staff with autonomy and independent problem solving opportunities. This
live-in position requires that staff display professionalism, maturity, positive role modeling behavior,and good judgement at all times.
This is an intense and fast-paced environment with a typical working hours that requires flexibility and constant attention. The large size
of the Brown Pre-College Programs and Sports Camps lends itself to a unique opportunity to engage with adiverse, fluctuating group of
students from around the world.
Primary responsibilities include:
Support Pre-College student and athletes
development and engagement
Support seasonal staff development and
retention
Support Pre-College and Sports Camps Operations

TERMS
The Residential
Graduate positions with Brown University are at-will positions, which means that either the University or the Graduate Staff may discontinue
employment at any time and for any reason, prior to the conclusion of the Program. Termination of employment includes loss of sponsored
housing, meal plan, and access to Health Services. In the event of termination, the Graduate Staff will receive a prorated share of the
agreed upon stipend amount offered in exchange for the services provided.

DATA
In order to maintain 90% or greater universal vaccination rates on campus, all newly hired employees at Brown University
