As the VP of Supply Chain, you’ll optimize the delivery of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring alignment with our sourcing strategies across several diverse channels. Overseeing all supply chain functions, including supplier quality, commodity management, demand planning, supply planning, and category management, you will synchronize capacity and demand from concept to implementation.
In this pivotal role as VP of Supply Chain, you will develop strategies for inventory management, procurement, supplier development, and program management, aligning our supply chain with business initiatives to meet customer expectations for lead time and service levels. You will create and implement policies and processes for sourcing, planning, purchasing, inventory management, assortments, and product life cycle management. Utilizing forecasting tools, you will drive demand consensus, supply planning, and production and inventory control plans.
Leading the transition from manual systems to sophisticated ERP tools, the focus will be on maximizing operational efficiency. As VP of Supply Chain, you will drive cross-functional collaboration between supply chain, product development, and sales teams to align category strategies with overall business objectives and customer needs. By continuously improving forecasting tools, you will establish robust processes for each market, creating forecast KPIs and targets, including monthly forecasting accuracy and inventory turns.
You will lead regular sales and operations planning meetings, aligning forecasts with business plans and ensuring cost-effective capacity to satisfy demand and estimated surges. Managing logistics and relationships with third-party vendors, you will oversee procurement activities and drive efficiencies through standardized practices.
Your role includes global sourcing activities to identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure cost-effective and high-quality materials and products. You will implement vendor performance management processes to assess supplier performance, address issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in supply chain management, logistics, and operations.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing supply chain strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Deep knowledge of ERP systems and forecasting tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to align supply chain processes with business goals and customer expectations.
- Willingness to travel and manage supply chain activities.
Salary Range & Location: Salary range starts at $180K (plus eligibility for generous bonus program), with a preference for candidates who can perform this role onsite in Grinnell, IA. Remote candidates from various states including Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Wisconsin are also considered.
