This position is primarily work from home. Some periods of in-house (office) work may be required to comply with the needs of the business. The Human Resources Administrator – ADP Liaison administers company policies relating to all company human resources. This includes policies and procedures, employee relations, benefit administration, workers’ compensation, salary administration, payroll, safety, employee orientation, and regulatory compliance relative to personnel, pay and benefits, and payroll administration. Interacts regularly with senior management on company-wide personnel policies, issues and practices.
Administers ADP TotalSource as needed for HR and Payroll issues, onboards and terminates employees, manages compensation, maintains records, and more. Will assist in transition to paperless environment.
As a key player in our small business and a member of the team, the Human Resources Administrator – ADP Liaison must be willing to perform whatever tasks are assigned by management.
This position requires a self-starter analytical problem solver that can accurately define, strategize a plan, and implement that plan successfully. They must appropriately and successfully respond to opportunities, problems, situations and circumstances that are not always foreseen. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Research, create and monitor all personnel policies and procedures, as well as compliance with, for Bruce Clay, Inc. (henceforth, Company).
· Responsible for ensuring Company is in compliance with current labor laws and regulations.
· Analyze, develop and implement the employee benefit program for Company. Recommends changes or additions to reflect employee and Company’s needs.
· Administers Company’s benefit programs which includes, but is not limited to, group health insurance, 401(k) and other benefits. Consults with and advises employees on their eligibility for these and other related benefits. Maintains benefits records and documents necessary for implementing benefit coverage. Maintains and distributes plan documents and employee communications relating to benefits. Assures compliance with all legal requirements of various employee benefit programs, including COBRA.
· Plan Administrator for the Company’s 401(k) Plan. Responsibilities include coordinating the enrollment of employees in the Plan, ensuring timely contributions, and evaluating investment options.
· Responsible for Company’s payroll processing, including salary changes and time recordkeeping. This includes timely payment of federal and state taxes and well as timely filing of quarterly and annual tax filings.
· Works with department managers on the creation of job descriptions.
· Direct responsibility for employee relations, including the performance review process and the implementation of all hiring, terminations and counseling.
· Works with management on the recruitment, interviewing and selection of candidates to fill vacant positions.
· Serves as Administrator of the Injury and Illness Prevention Program.
· Maintains all employee personnel, confidential, and insurance/medical files.
· Coordinates sponsored employee activities designed to enhance employee/organization relationships.
· Attend any requiredmeetings.
· Represent Company with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
· Adhere to Company’s policies and support management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner.
· Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
· Organize information about the facilities and keep staff informed of any changes.
· Coordinate relationship with building management to address any maintenance issues and take necessary steps/action to remedy.
· Act as the ADP Liaison and report to the executive team general office activities
