The Burnham Center for Community Advancement (BCCA) is an entrepreneurial, dynamic and action-oriented non-profit organization focused on generating innovative ideas, research, and practical solutions to address complex opportunities that have significant impact on the trajectory of the greater San Diego region. BCCA serves its mission through a multi-pronged approach that includes listening, convening, coalition building, research & analysis that may result in enabling systems change in social, economic, arts & culture arenas.

SUMMARY:
As the Development Director, reporting directly to the President/CEO of BCCA, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and executing a fundraising strategic plan to raise funds for the organization in a time efficient and cost-effective manner. Your role will incorporate developing a philanthropy program that will ultimately result in managing a broad binational portfolio of diverse prospects sufficient to sustain and grow the organization in four categories:
1) Major Gifts/Individual Giving
2) Institutional Foundations
3) Corporate Partnerships
4) Government grants.
