Bushnell University Hiring for Open Rank Nursing Faculty – Accelerated Baccalaureate Program at Eugene, OR Full Time

Bushnell University’s School of Nursing, located in Eugene, OR invites applications for 1 nurse faculty position to teach primarily in
the University’s new Accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing degree program. This on-campus position has a start date July 1, 2021.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Working collaboratively to start up a new Accelerated
  Baccalaureate pre-licensure nursing program.
• Development, implementation, and evaluation of the accelerated baccalaureate
  program’s curriculum.
• Full-time teaching (face-to-face, hybrid, online; didactic and clinical courses), primarily in the
  Accelerated Baccalaureate pre-licensure program, and other courses in RN to BSN, and/or nursing graduate program(s) as assigned.
• Working collaboratively with the Dean of Nursing, Nursing Skills Lab Coordinator, and other nursing faculty to deliver high quality
  education to baccalaureate and/or graduate nursing students.
• Working collaboratively with University faculty, staff, and other
  departments across the campus.
• Participate in promotion of the Accelerated Baccalaureate and other nursing programs in the
  community, among the Bushnell student population and prospective students at on and off-campus sponsored events.
• Support the
  missions of Bushnell University and School of Nursing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Specific Duties and
Responsibilities:

• Knowledge and/or experience with the AACN Essentials and Oregon State Board of Nursing and the
  Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education accreditation standards/process.
• Knowledge and/or experience teaching via online
  learning management system(s) such as Moodle.
• Possess current knowledge/expertise/experience in didactic & clinical subject
  matter for courses assigned.
• Eligible for or hold and maintain an active, unencumbered Oregon RN license.
• Be a team
  player.

Experience and Qualification Requirements:

• Earned nursing graduate degree (terminal degree
  preferred).
• Minimum of two years nursing practice experience, two years of experience as a nurse educator and/or possess experience
  teaching accelerated baccalaureate nursing students.
• Eligible for or possess an active, unencumbered Oregon RN license.
• Must be actively engaged in a Christian congregation and able to identify with and support the Bushnell Theological
• Context for
  Community statement.
• Ability to utilize Windows based software including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience utilizing e-mail for
  the purposes of organizational communications.
• Listening skills and the ability to speak and write clearly.
