Carpenter

Byrne & Jones Construction operates all across the Midwest and continues to grow. We are a family of companies including several divisions and owned subsidiaries that focus on asphalt, concrete, sports, and microsurfacing. We work on projects ranging from small asphalt repairs to large commercial construction projects. Byrne & Jones Construction can handle everything outside of the building — no job is too big or too small.

We are searching for a Carpenter. We self-perform all our work, meaning that if you are hired, you will play a key role in our building success. Our construction workers take great pride in knowing that the work we do is helping to build communities – one project at a time.

Job Responsibilities

• Read and follow plans for construction, repair, and assembly of structures, fixtures, and facilities as it pertains to the scope of work
• Help manage crews and direct laborers on site
• Establish grade and set forms
• Order materials

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction
• Ability to lead
• Must be able to travel to jobsites as assigned

Byrne & Jones is a union contractor. Pay is according to the union scale or the prevailing wage – whichever is higher.
