Experienced tower technician/foreman

What we are looking for:

Experienced Tower Technicians

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to the best of their abilities. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Responsibilities:

• Climb and work on communications towers to install, replace, and repair antenna systems equipment
• Ability to identify the tools and materials to properly perform the scope of work within spec
• Knowledge of the hazards associated with tower climbing, construction materials, and working near energized lines and equipment
• Assist in the installation of all aspects of wireless cell site foundations, grounding and conduits, with electrical installations where applicable
• Ensure highest level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld
• Installation of up-top equipment including masts, clamping, bracing, supports, antennas, RRUs, cabling, bolting, true up, shooting proper azimuth within tolerances, reading maps and a compass, torque to spec, labeling, picture-taking, documentation, plumb and tilt readings with smart level, etc.
• Responsible for tool inventory and upkeep daily on job site
• Troubleshoot and communicate equipment performance issues

Qualifications:

• Must have 2+ Years of experience climbing and working on Towers
• Must be a well-organized self-starter with strong attention to detail
• OSHA 10/30, CPR/First Aid, RF Awareness, NWSA and Climb/Rescue certified preferred
• Must be able to climb and perform work at various heights, for long periods of time; operate lifts and aerial platform equipment; squat, bend, and lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work overtime to include weekends and /or nights
• Operation and adjustment of commonly used tools efficiently
• Current valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to adhere to random drug/alcohol screening
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb to heights of 500ft’

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus pay

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Cell tower: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Drivers license (Preferred)
• OSHA 10/30 (Preferred)
• First aid/CPR Certification (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
