Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with California State University Long Beach in the search for a Director of Development,
College of the Arts.
Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Development, the Director of Development, College of the Arts will
secure philanthropic funds in support of programs and activities of the College of the Arts (COTA). The Director of Development will provide
leadership and day-to-day management of an integrated program of development activities for COTA’s six academic units, as well as the
Richard and Karen Carpenter Performing Arts Center and the Carolyn Campagna Kleefeld Contemporary Art Museum. The Director of Development
will work closely with department chairs, school directors, and faculty members, and partner with the Dean and Associate Vice President,
Development on the development and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the College of the Arts. This is a hybrid
position. The Director of Development is expected to be on campus at least two days per week. For the first three to six months of
employment, the Director of Development is expected to be on campus four to five days per week. The Director of Development must reside in
California with a strong preference for Southern California.

Center and the Carolyn Campagna Kleefled Contemporary Art Museum are valuable resources for the campus and Greater Long Beach region and are
proudly part of the College of the Arts.

A
bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least five years of demonstrated major gift
fundraising experience, including donor identification, cultivation, and solicitation within a higher education environment, is preferred.

The salary range
for this position is $105,000 to $115,000 annually.
