Camp Canadensis Hiring for Pot Washer Job at Newark, NJ Full Time

We are seeking a Pot Washer / Porter for Summer Seasonal 2022 employment at a Children’s Overnight Camp

We are Looking for someone work on our kitchen team to provide support in our high volume children’s summer camp kitchen

Position responsible for working under our Head Chef with the other cooks to wash the pot and pans and provide other integral support before, during, and after all meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)

Date of employment would be NOW to September 27. These dates work perfectly for someone who works at a ski resort or other winter seasonal business.

When not working as Pot-washer, person would help out in all other kitchen areas including:
– accepting deliveries
– mopping floors
– cleaning dining hall facilities, including bathrooms
– bringing all dry / fridge / freezer goods to the kitchen from storage.
– any other duties as needed by Head Chef

We provide FREE dormitory style housing and food for the duration of employment.

Must be able to lift over 50 pounds.

We are ideally looking for someone who could return to camp year after year.

Camp is located in the Pocono Mountains in PA two hours from New York City and Philadelphia.

Potential employee needs experience working in high volume kitchen.

Competitive salary based on experience

Pay: $500.00 – $525.00 per week
