Travel/Relocation/Remote: Hybrid role – WFH and work in office 1-2 days per week
You will report to the Director of Human Resources for the Financial Services Strategic Business Unit.
The primary purpose of the role is to develop a strong relationship with and become a trusted advisor to the Banking Capital Markets BCM Business Unit team for North America. The HRBP must understand the business strategy in order to translate it to a clear people agenda focusing on priorities today and the longer-term strategy and then deliver on it. In addition, the role is accountable for ensuring efficient and effective delivery of the HR processes and other critical initiatives.
The role is operationally focused on the areas of talent management, performance management, skill capability, development, and employee engagement
The art of negotiation and influence without authority will be critical skillsets for the incumbent to ensure the multiple stakeholders are being effectively managed
The successful incumbent should be able to work autonomously focused on the unique needs of the organization
Given the nature of this position, it is desirable to have a broad-based knowledge of labor laws and guidelines
Proven experience in change management and expertise on one or all the key HR processes like compensation, employee relations, employment law, employee services, etc shall be added advantage
Key Responsibility:
Build effective and long-lasting trusted relationships with key business stakeholders including senior leadership, Centres of Excellence. recruiting compensation. HR Operations. etc
Develop and deliver the people agenda for the NA BCM business ensuring alignment with Global FS HR strategy and the North American region as a whole
Work in partnership with peers in HR Operations including Talent Recruitment Diversity and Inclusion and Compensation and Benefits to provide valuable support programs and developmental offerings to employees in your client group
Partner with the business to create a diverse organization and deliver programs that help to attract retain and develop diverse talent
Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines and ensure compliance on all local employment laws
Proactively assess address and reduce attrition through effective retention strategies Identity employee development needs make recommendations and implement appropriate solutions
Manage and facilitate organizational design employee survey action planning visioning and team-building that support change and growth
Supporting acquisitions and transfer of employees as appropriate
Engage in a positive way with multiple stakeholders who might have different focuses at the same time
Ability to determine the impact of an action today tomorrow and beyond
Excels at working with a degree of ambiguity in a matrixed environment and adaptability to rapid change
Strong on execution and drive to achieve
