CPA/Accounting Manager: –
Summary: The Accounting Manager will plan and direct the day-to-day accounting activities. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: –
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions.
Oversees preparation of financial reports, account reconciliations, margin and costing reports, analyses, sales tax reporting, tax filings, and related tax documents, as well as budgets.
Ensures that the reported financial results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
Assists with tax planning throughout the fiscal year and with the annual corporate tax return. Review accounts to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
Presents recommendations to management regarding financial objectives as well as improvements to processes and policies.
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
Performs other related projects and duties as necessary.
Required Skills:
Excellent supervisory skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. At least 5 years of general accounting experience. CPA required. Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, or similar software. Proficient with GAAP rules, regulations and systems
Home Health Care Experience a plus
