Human Resources designs, implements and delivers human resource programs and policies, including recruitment, talent management, diversity and inclusion, compensation and benefits, among others. This function anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs in alignment with business strategies.
Employee Relations provides impartial advice and counsel to managers and employees on a wide variety of employee relations and management issues. This job family is responsible for conducting investigations, preparing responses to federal, state and local governmental agencies and conducing organizational health engagements focusing on positive employee relations. Labor Relations is responsible for ensuring the health of existing collective bargaining agreements, educating management on union awareness and addressing third party attempts to organize our workforce.
Responsibilities
Specific understanding of Unapproved Leave, Temporary Leave of Absence, FMLA Backfill and ADA Accommodations with the ability to apply this knowledge to make informed decisions.
Manages expectations and accountabilities of the business and the employee
Works with peers within the ACC and broader HR organization to continuously improve manager capability as well as ACC internal processes
Leads and/or participates on special projects or enterprise initiatives.
Works with peers to develop internal SLAs and assists in holding peers accountable
Collaborates with other Centers of Expertise (COEs) to provide solutions as appropriate
Identifies Employee Relations/Labor Relations trends and communicates to ACC leadership as appropriate
Qualifications
4-8 years of experience in related field preferred
BA, BS or equivalent work experience preferred
Experience working within complex Employee Relations issues including FMLA, ADA and Title VII.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally

Anticipated salary range: $75,200-107,400
