What You’ll Be Doing:
The HR Coordinator is responsible for recruitment support, and onboarding activities of all Medical Group employees while aligning business objectives within all CarePoint Health facilities. As the HR Coordinator you will formulate partnerships across the Human Resources function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
The successful candidate will be able to:
Partner with hiring managers/Physician Recruiter to determine staffing needs
Screen and source resumes, coordinate/set up interviews with candidates and hiring managers, administer appropriate assessments, make recommendations for hire (or not hire) and deliver employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings
Own the onboarding of all new hires for the Medical Groups, including: following up with the related clerical aspects of employment, such as completing of health, employment and insurance forms, notifying the department of employee’s start date and the requisition the employee is filling, etc.
For clinical candidates: check license, certifications, and credentials as required for the role
Develop recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels
Meet with managers/Physician Recruiter to develop specific recruiting plans
Use traditional and non-traditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates
Develop and maintain professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants
Maintain job postings are up-to-date to ensure high visibility with potential candidates
Manage internal transfer process between hospitals and or the corporate office, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Manage new hire file audit to ensure all hospital locations receive complete and accurate files
Researches, analyzes, prepares and presents hiring and statistics
Maintain records on recruiting activities as required
Complete weekly report on recruiting/onboarding activities
Perform any and all other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For and What We Offer:
Bachelor s degree in human resources, psychology, or business-related concentration
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience within Human Resources
Experience in Healthcare preferred
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
Strong business acumen and ability to pick up concepts quickly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Tech Savvy, intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Prior HRIS, applicant tracking system experience required, prior use of iCims a plus!
Excellent organizational skills, and must be detail oriented
