Principal Accountabilities

• Completing pre-operation and work alongside USDA
• Monitoring of product temperature, weight checks, seal checks, label verification and packaging
• HACCP monitoring of all products
• Cook attributes
• Performing sensory evaluations of product
• Test and hold procedures
• Hold and release procedures
• Entering data into a computer
• Preventative maintenance on FSQR equipment
• May teach, train, or coach others on work activities, methods and procedures
• Ensuring all stakeholders follow GMPs, good housekeeping and maintain plant policies
• Maintaining a safe working environment
• Champion of personal safety and food safety
• Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions in a warm or cool environment, as well as slippery surfaces at varied heights
• Standing for long periods of time, the use of stairs and ladders, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas of the facility
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 60 lbs
• Ability to work in cold environment, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work 8-10 hours per day, 6-7 days per week
• Basic use of a computer
• Basic math skills
• Ability to climb ladders and stand/walk for long period of time

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in manufacturing or other high paced environments
• Previous food safety or quality experience
• Bilingual
