Carolina’s Solution Group Inc. Broadband Fiber Optic Network Cabling Installation Career Path Certification Training is seeking telecommunications instructors with experience delivering both virtual and in-person instruction. Instructors are needed for ongoing day and evening classes. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in providing both theoretical and hands-on instruction covering installation, testing, and troubleshooting of copper and fiber communications.

This Training provides virtual lectures and hands-on training activities to prepare the student to take the CPCT, CFOT, COSPT test that is sanctioned by the FOA (Fiber Optics Association). Students will learn how to identify fiber types, recognize various connectors used in fiber installation; and install, terminate, splice, and properly test installed fiber cable to existing standards.

Instructors should ideally possess the following skills:

• Experience delivering both virtual and in-person theoretical and hands-on telecommunications instruction.

• Ability to perform and teach skills that are applicable to all functions required to safely and competently install advanced copper and fiber communications cabling such as termination, fusion splicing, and testing.

• FOA Instructor certification is preferred, but we will help you attain certification if necessary.

• Availability for either day or evening instruction.

• We will also consider individuals that have extensive telecommunications experience interested in undergoing instructor training.

Instructors are needed for both day and evening classes that will last for approximately 2-6 weeks. Classes will be held on a regular ongoing basis, so we hope to continue working with chosen instructors for future training sessions.

Certified Premises Cabling Technician: November 1 – TBD

Certified Fiber Optic Technician: TBD

Outside Plant: TBD

Salary is based on experience.
