Caroline County Department of Social Services Hiring for EAP/RISE Coordinator at Denton, MD Full Time

We are currently hiring for a part-time contractual position for our Eviction Assistance (EAP) & Re-engaging Individuals through Successful Employment (RISE) Programs. The main purpose of this position is to provide intake services for the Eviction Assistance Program to assist those in economic need and provide clerical support to the Re-engaging Individuals through Successful Employment (RISE) Program.

Work Examples Include:

Conducting work interviews and assessing customers for the Eviction Assistance Program.
Interviewing walk-in customers and providing short-term crisis intervention related to needs for medications, utility disconnects, etc.
Referring clients to appropriate community resources needed to resolve crises or for financial assistance and/or other possible funds.
Providing timely and exemplary service to all clients and customers.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Experience performing administrative or program coordinator duties (preferred).
Working knowledge of software applications demonstrating proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Must have the ability to learn interviewing and communication techniques.

Employment Type & Compensation:

Part time, Contract, Monday – Thursday, 9AM-3:00PM, 20 hours per week.
$15.00/ per hour.
