Carvertise is presently on the hunt for a Director of Operations to come onboard! In this role, you will run the Operations Division, spearheading the execution of effective and timely campaigns to drive the right business outcomes, while leading and growing a team of operations employees to accomplish great and many things!
How You’ll Fit:
In this sole HR role onsite you will perform a wide array of essential generalist functions! As the first dedicated HR hire of the company, you’ll help organize the department, including the many HR processes which are happening currently but without the proper framework to scale. You’ll be a role model who embodies our core values and who is a trusted resource to leadership, management and employees alike. You will propagate Carvertise culture through your hustle, proficiency and outcomes.
Primary Role Responsibilities Include:
Spearheads the talent acquisition process, to include testing, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring; builds pipelines.
Collaborates with department heads and leadership team to develop competencies and grow people, helps build bench strength, supports and champions growth and succession planning
Leads, coordinates and maintains onboarding, offboarding and orientation
Coordinates activities and events to grow/nurture culture, encourage camaraderie, deepen community, teamwork and inclusion, and build morale
Facilitates performance management processes, including goal-setting
Collaboratively develops quantitative and qualitative performance metrics and reporting processes to drive accountability and outcomes
Facilitates corrective action, PIPs and conducts investigations
Coordinates benefits open enrollment process and provides benefit communication and support to participants
Supports management in creation of training materials as helpful for job specific learning; develops /conducts trainings based on HR and related topics
Performs administrative HR responsibilities, such as ensuring JDs are up-to-do, org charts are current; Handbook is updated timely
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Maintains and maximizes HRIS setup, utilization and accuracy
Performs special projects and other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications or relevant program preferred. Minimum 3-5 years prior inhouse HR Generalist experience; talent and performance management, required. PHR or SHRM-CP credentials strongly preferred. Supplemental HR training, including HR certificate programs are helpful. Working knowledge of various HR specific software and tools, to include HRIS, ATS, L&D platforms, etc. required. Payroll experience helpful
